Deposited Collections
We have developed a number of finding aids that will allow you to search through the descriptions of the archival collections held in the James Hardiman Library.
The Collection Level Guide gives information on collection code, title, covering dates, extent and a short description of each collection. Where descriptive lists are available you can follow the links to them.
There is also a search facility that allows you to search across collections, and a sort facility that allows you to browse by category of collection.
Hard copies of these descriptive lists are also available in the Special Collections Reading Room for consultation. If you have any questions about the collections listed here please contact the Archivists.
The collections are listed in accordance with the International Standard for Archival Description (General) and the software standard used is Encoded Archival Description.
