Marine Law Collection
The Library holds a collection of books relating to marine law and the law of the sea in the compact shelving on the ground floor.
The Library aims to collect the research output of the academic and research staff of the University. We do this for journal literature through our Institutional Repository, ARAN. For book literature, we place one copy of all books published by members of NUI Galway staff in our Staff Publications collection. This collection is kept in closed access storage for safe-keeping and is not loanable. Additional copies of these books are made available on open access and for loan as required.
A Staff Publications display stand is located to the left of the foyer in the Library. Recent publications for 2010 are on view at present.
You can help us to keep this collection up to date by letting us know of your publications. Please contact Neil O’Brien, Collections Management Librarian, (email@example.com). He will be happy to add and/or display your publication.
