Copyright Declaration

In order to send you a photocopy or electronic copy of a journal article or conference paper, it is necessary for the lending library to make a copy of the original article. Under the terms of the Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000, this can only be done if you have not previously been supplied with a copy of the requested material. Also, you can only use the material for research or for a non-commercial purpose, and you are not allowed to supply it to a third party.

For this reason, it is necessary for you to agree to the Copyright Declaration when applying for a journal article or conference paper.

All users should carefully read the declaration before assenting, and liability for infringement of copyright passes to the user in the event that a false declaration is made.
