Standards Database Demonstration 21/02

Silent Zones in Library
The Library has introduced two Silent Zones into the Library in response to repeated requests from students for a silent place to study. There is one on the first floor of the Library to the rear of the building, and a second on the top floor towards the front of the building. The Silent Zones mean: No talking No use of phones Laptops must be kept on silent Headphones are not permitted Study
Finding Books and Journals Training - Cancelled
Our daily 'Finding Books and Journals Training' will not be taking place today at 11.00 as usual.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused. This training will still be available at 7 pm this evening, and at 11.00 Monday to Thursday next week.

National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) database now available via the JHL

New Article Recommender Service
The Library has recently implemented a trial of bX, Ex Libris’ scholarly recommender service. bX is now embedded with our SFX service to provide enhanced opportunities for academic discovery for our users.
