AWC Workshops
In addition to the one-on-one teaching sessions, the Academic Writing Centre tutors give occasional workshops on essay writing. The latest workshop was entitled ‘How to Write Better Essays’ and took place in early March.
The Academic Writing Centre also provides discipline-specific workshops by agreement with individual departments. Among the workshops that took place this academic year were ‘Finding Your Writing Voice’ designed for LL.M students, ‘Improve Your Grade’, developed for third-year students of English, ‘Essay Writing’ and ‘Using Sources Correctly’, for the students of BA Connect with Women’s Studies, and ‘Writing Skills’ for MBS students.
