Welcome to the Assistive Technology Service (ATS)

The Assistive Technology Service, located on the ground floor of the Library aims to meet the needs of students with disabilities. The Service offers support for users with visual, mobility and hearing impairments, and for those with learning difficulties. The University’s Disability Support Service works with the Library in providing a range of services, equipment and software to enable students to participate fully in their courses. The Service also receives computer support from Information Solutions and Services.

The Service aims to provide an accessible environment to suit the needs of students.

The facilities are available to all students who are registered with the Disability Support Office.

The Library Guide offers a short introduction to the James Hardiman Library and its wide range of resources.

Everyone is expected to respect the needs of all users and follow the ATS Code of Conduct.
