If you have a developed a new technology, or if you have a business idea you hope to realise, you will need to conduct market research to explore the commercial potential of your product. The Library provides access to key market research resources and library staff can advise you on how to get started with your market research.
If you think you have a novel product or technology, it is essential to talk to the Technology Transfer Office commercialisation executives about protecting your intellectual property BEFORE you disclose your idea in publications, at conferences, etc. The Technology Transfer Office can also support you in realising the commercial potential of your product.

- Market sector information & industry reports providing an overview of the state of specific market sectors and the key players in each industry.
- Country Reports – outlining general facts about countries and regions, including demographic, social, cultural, political, and economic information about these geographies.
- Company Information – Company profiles and filed accounts for registered Irish and UK companies and selected international companies.
