Nursing and Midwifery Library
The new extension to the James Hardiman Library opened in June 2009. The accommodation, on three floors, houses the nursing and midwifery books and journals and offers 120 study spaces, with power points at all desks for laptop access. Wireless access is available on all floors.

Nursing & Midwifery Library Opening Hours
The Nursing and Midwifery Library is housed in an extension to the James Hardiman Library, and its opening hours are the same as those for the Main Library:
During term time, the opening hours are:
- Monday to Friday 08.30-22.00
- Saturday 08.30-17.30
- Sunday 10.00-17.30
Please note that the Customer Services Desk is not staffed after 13.00 on Saturdays. The Desk is closed on Sundays.
Opening hours are generally reduced during vacations, although they have been extended in recent years to reflect demand. You can check the Library website for up to date information on opening hours.
