The School of Education is a constituent school of the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies, NUI Galway. The School provides a range of academic programmes that facilitate the initial and continuing professionalisation of teachers for the post-primary sector. Notwithstanding, educators from a wide variety of backgrounds, experiences and sectors, from primary to tertiary level education, undertake research studies and complete academic programmes within the School of Education. The School is also extensively engaged in high-impact educational research and development, in Ireland and internationally.
